Liz Cheney Deflects Questions About Her Father Keeping Secrets From Congress, And Shows Her Lack Of Knowledge With Regards To The Law

By Che

Liz Cheney must have broken some sort of record as to how many times one can field the same question without actually answering it.

What is more important than Cheney refusing to answer Mika Brzezinski’s questions, is Cheney’s blatant disregard for the law that binds the CIA to brief Congress on any action the CIA is undertaking or planning to undertake.

The 1947 Act clearly states that Congress is to be:

kept fully and currently informed of the intelligence activities of the United States, including any significant anticipated intelligence activity.

The key word there is anticipated. Even if the plan was never implemented, the CIA still had the obligation to inform, at the very least, the so-called “Gang of Eight.” The Gang of Eight is made up of the leaders from the House and Senate from both sides of aisle.

So when Liz Cheney takes liberties with the law by saying that “General Hayden had a set of triggers” that told him when Congress needed to be briefed, or “it looks like you’ve got different perspectives about when Congress needed to be briefed,” she is showing that she does not have a complete understanding of the law.

The law is clear, it is Cheney’s conscience that is not.

Liz…how can I put this nicely, keep talking all the way to the court house. This is nothing in comparison to what will be coming down the pipe!!

Your father is a trader to this country…this is not just my opinion, but the majority of this nation.

I agree with everything you said Claude.

I am a bit torn as to who I hate more now, Dick or Liz?

Yes Dick is a war criminal, but Liz Cheney’s smug, and know-it-all attitude is infuriating.
