Peter King Tries To Say That His Attacks On The Obama Administration Are Not Partisan

There is not any polite way to say this, but Peter King is full of shit.

While discussing the Obama Administration’s response to the attempted bombing of a passenger jet last week, King said:

There is nothing political about this at all.

Before he could take another breath, he was spewing out ridiculous partisan attacks that not only lacked substance, but showed King to be a caddy political hack.

King went on to say:

First of all, we went almost 48 hours before anyone in the administration come [sic] out and spoke about what happened.

Leave it to a Republican to want to see the President talking rather than acting. First of all, I really do not know if what he said about 48 hours going by is even true, but let’s just say, for the sake of argument that it is, who cares? King has no idea what Obama, the CIA, the FBI, officials from Homeland Security were doing. For all he knows, they could have been diligently working behind the scenes to foil the next plot.

What good would it have done if Obama spoke immediately after the attempted attack or not? King may have handled it differently if he were president, and that is fine, but to say they took too long to talk about it is petty and absolutely partisan.

But wait it gets better! King also said:

Finally Janet Napolitano comes out and the first thing she said was “everything worked well” and she seemed almost like she was bored to be there. There was not intensity, no show of emotion.

Again, who cares? Apparently King wanted Napolitano to get intense and emotional so she could scare all of the holiday travelers before they board their flights back home. Talk about a war on Christmas?

Here is a little tip Mr. King. Next time you try and seem nonpartisan, make sure you wait more than a few seconds before you resort to partisan attacks.
